The story is very nice and beautiful — it really touches the heart. And it also reveals the inner beauty of the writer’s heart and mind.
Children are nearer to the Inner Child, the Divine. When a human being grows, generally he or she loses touch with the Inner Divine. Love for him or her becomes covered by a lot of dust and dirt and selfishness. An unconditional love in an expression of the inner divinity.
A good and valuable entry.
Fundamentally, meditation is the means for reaching a goal which is beyond the ordinary mind. Concentration is the way of meditation; always it has the same goal and the result, though it varies in the external aspects of its application in different systems and philosophies. Whatever may be the present philosophy accompanying the way of meditation, it originated with Maharshi Patanjali. My blog entry Meditation published today in Sulekha may please be perused. For some details on Patanjali, one may refer to my blog entry Patenting Yoga. I agree with Dr. Rakshak Mal Lodha.

The Stolen Poetry
Man is said here to be the magnum opus of Nature. And Man created a sculpture.
“On completion of his work, He stood and admired his creation” Man “had induced life into a piece of stone.” And Man’s creation “could sing for itself”.
However, his creation was an “illusion” and at dawn, the sculpture was disfigured and deformed. Nature reflected the wrath of the Creator. Nature’s destructive means destroyed the human creation. The ego and “lust” of man was crushed.
But if we see that this lust is the Way and the Means of the human progress, then we can also see that the Supreme has ‘created’ Man with such a spirit that he has enabled himself to conquer all the obstacles to reach the present state of the civilized man from the state the caveman, from the level of the Homo Neanderthal. This lust is infused in Man so that he goes ahead and does not remain chained and subdued and shackled by Nature.
Nature — the physical Nature — is the source and origin of Man, but Nature is only a Power of the Supreme, NOT the Supreme Himself. The Supreme Consciousness has designed Man in a way that he has to reflect, in a progressive manner, the Divine Himself. As, in the ultimate analysis, he a part of Him, and is one with Him.
Of course, Ego and Lust are often blind and may lead Man to destruction and defeat. But has to grow and go beyond the limits in which he was created and continue his progress. Ego and Lust may be transformed into an Aspiration so that Man progresses, NOT against the Will of the Divine, but in fulfillment of the Design of the Divine inherent in Nature.
Man creates poetry and arts, as the Creator is inherent in him. He must fulfill the creator in him.
